Among other time comsuming things we do with our toys, has anyone ever figured out the MPG (miles per gallon) of their buggy/truck/car ? Shouldn't be too hard to do, just wondered if anyone ever tried it. Thanks, I now return you to your
"I've got better things to do than......", lives.

I've never done this, but fuel economy is one of things that come into play when you race. If you have to stop to fill up, you loose. I think the MPG for an R/C is going to change drastically depending on engine displacement and needle settings. I know my .21 sucks down the go go juice like their is no tomorrow.

i have measured my fuel consuption in time, rather than MPG. The same way they do in boats. how long i can run is more important than how far.

I can't believe my run times on my Sirio. I get about 15-20 minutes easy out of that .21 and a 125cc tank I think its has a lot to do with the retrictor in the carb.
