Has anyone ever tried to drift there tmaxx? I see people putting tape on rims, an making Abs pipe to make it slick, it looks like fun, just wounding if doing this could damage the engine or not? An does anyone make drifting tires for the big rims that's tmaxx uses?

I always had a blast drifting my Maxx in the driveway or a parking lot after a rain using worn stock tires. Other than that, it's center of gravity and ride height isn't made for it.
 
So the lowest ride height, an proly low gearing? So it won't ruin the motor? With all the revving
 
Stock you will struggle but if you widen it and lower it she will drift just fine. Rolex has a point where the old worn tires really help with this. I run mine with the stablemax rims (1" wider) and the lowest suspension setting anyway. I mainly "track bash" and dont take a ton of jumps which allows me to run a LCG setup which works great for drifting.
 
Actually, yes. Spinouts, slides, figure 8s, whatever. It has to be on wet asphalt. Minimum acceleration required.
I ran mine with the old style Maxx with the lower and wider suspension.
 
Would stiff springs help? Or soft ones?
 
try replacing the shock with a turnbuckle. front ONLY

You can put PVC pipe over your Tires and make some drift tires
 
dont know where you are located, but winter drifting in the snow is a blast !
 
I put 15 superchargers on my Revo and man she is a drifting king!... Drop it with any street tire setup wrapped with electrical tape and youve got a drifter.

But no, Id rather coat my rig heavily with the freshest of poo than put some crap like a stoopidcharger on my rig..
