Any tips on a FOC?

I picked up the FOC kit for my 2.5 today and just wondered if there were any tips on doing the conversion. Looks like it is going to take a while just to get the tranny out (roll cage, chassis braces, center skid, linkage).
Just thought I would check the wise sages on here just in cae there was something not in the destructions that came with it. Oh, one other thing, is there any particular lube that I should use in there?

it took me id say about 15-20 minutes to get my tranny out! as far as lube traxxas says to use a light coating of automotive wheel bearing grease on specific gears check this link for the *'s thats where the grease should go!

It's straight forward. Not a big deal.

Just pay attention to what your doing.

It went without a hitch. I put a spot of sealant on the two screws that you have to instal and a light bead on the case halfs. The gears looked as though they had no lube on them and there was really no wear inside to speak of so I just left it as it was.
Just hae to put it back in in the am..thanks all.


Oh, one more thing..Will I hve to re-adjust the tranny(shift points)? I hope not as it was running perfect.
