Whoop Whoop, E-Rock in the house! Big Kal, you're in Anaheim? I went to Chapman University in Orange (5 mins. from Ultimate Hobbies).

007kel-Ultimate and Hobby People in Orange is where I buy most of my stuff.

Anyone else?

I love the way you say "trek". It ain't that bad!!! At least it's not 2 hours like my NSLHS!!! But then again, we know how the freeways are!! I used to have to get through the El Toro Y at 8 a.m. rush...

I admit it's not that bad, things could be worse. But I remember back in the late 80's and early 90's we could head down to Orange County in about 20-30 mins. on the weekend. The thing is that now it could take up to an hour and a half...on a weekend. And since I had to go to school there the past few years, I dreaded making the "trek" to the O.C. if I had to show up on the weekend.

I guess it's my gripe over the California government ignoring to resolve the issue of improving the state's infrastructure to the increasing population. I hate to get into the issue. But everytime I'm stuck in traffic on a weekend, I can't help but think of this.

I'm with you there Kel. The only time I found peace was at about midnight on the 55. At least then I could open my car up a bit. I was an idiot who had to drive the 5 to work every day. Worked in a lot of places. Downey, Santa Fe Springs, Orange, Fountain Valley, Laguna Hills, Yorba Linda. Freeway every day. And I was also silly enough to buy an Eclipse with a standard tranny. My clutch leg was usually numb when I got home due to all the starting and stopping at evening rush...

Yeah, I drove my RX7 to O.C. when I went to school. That was standard, but I hopped it up with a Centerforce dual diaphragm clutch. That's heavier than a stock clutch. Imagine that, it was bumper to bumper with a racing clutch. When my engine overheated, I decided to get another ride. So when I shopped for my Tacoma pickup, I wanted a automatic tranny for sure.

Howdy all, I am in O.C and just getting into nitro cars so I hope to see some of you around. Just wanted to say hi and see if anyone can suggest some shops in OC.

Thanks

What's up guru. Where abouts in OC are you? What are you looking for in a shop? If it's customer service go to Hobby People in Orange. If you want the good stuff go to Ultimate Hobbies.

Wow there's quite a few So Cal people here. We should set up a race/bash session sometime. What do you guys think?

I'm Down! Whats kind of cars are you guys running? I got an onroad and have a future with a buggy.
