I just got a slightly used Colari .32 for my savy. The compression is on the low side so I thought Id send it in to get re-pinched. Anyway, I'm having problems getting the rod off the crank.. Only other mill I did this to was my s-25 and it was alot easier.. Anyone have any tips? It just seems like there isnt the room to do it. Any pointers?

Try wrapping some floss around the connecting rod and pulling it out.

Thats a good one, ill try that. Thanks

After I get the backplate off, is there anything that holds the rod onto the crank? Theres the pin that goes threw the rod and theres a little black bearing looking thing between the rod and the pin. It seems like its getting hung up on there.. Should it just pup off now? Or do I have to remove something else?

you did take the sleeve out first right? just checkin..

I was thinking the same thing... The sleeve needs to be pulled to give the piston enough play to be removed from the conrod.

Yeah I had the sleeve out. I finally got it. I dont know what it was hung up on, but it finally let go and out she came. Thanks for the help fellas!
