Here is the link to the throttle mod.

throttle mod

Replace the stock bushings on the top and bottom of the steering bell cranks with the bearings.

Yeah replacing the steering bearings should be a piece of cake. The throttle linkage mod is kind of easy too. You just kind of have to finesse it a little but it should be no problems for you.

Before you complete your set up make sure that it works. Center the servo then reattached the servo arm. Turn on you electronics and test it out. With a little adjustment you should easily be able to capture WOT (wide open throttle). My problem was adusting the brakes. At times the brake would engage during WOT. Try to position the brake lever vertically 180 degrees (straight up and down) and turn the spur gear. It should turn easily with no friction from the brakes. Next while keeping the brake lever in that position install a spring and stopper for the brakes, this is to prevent the brakes from sticking at WOT. This may take some time but eventually you should get right...

ok thanks a lot. I'm still really not sure how to put it on but ill figure it out sometime. once I'm done with this and the bearings ill install my rc solutions roll cage and put some pictures on here.

Savager howz it bro??? The throttle linkage mod is not hard at all. Follow the advice you have been given and you will be set. One thing I would tell you is when you mount the races on the stock servo saver bottom part. You might want to shave off a little of the screw that comes through. When I did the mod it was hitting on the TVP.

i just put some new mods on my savage. the bearings were easy. i am STILL kinda not sure how to put the linkage mod on. theres a lot of parts in the little baggy. is there any like directions on a website somewhere? besides the one that robmob gave me?(thanks anyway robmob) ill try to figure it out tomorrow.and the mods are, steering bearings, rc solutions roll cage, silver 40% springs, and the throttle linkage kit. ill get some pictures soon. but one thing bad happened, my front tires are stuck! they wont turn. there like turned right all the way but wont turn back the other way. illl have to take it to the lhs. sorry for the long post.
