Hi guys, I have a 17 year old brother who has a Tmaxx but isn’t very into it. I wish I might could get him something he’s really interested in. maybe a drifter or something else. I was going to ask if any of you guys have a sibling or just know someone around that age and what there interested in. If you could let me know on any thing for him to get that’s a little more challenging. thanks

crawlers are fun for everyone, and i havent met a person yet that a 1/18 can't make smile.

Good call, it's like watching the little engine that could. Seeing a little ol truck scrambling up something that it has no business being able to climb.

LOL... or a girlfriend let m know. lol.. well yeah but every crawlerive seen has been ike 800 for a good one any links?

Not sure if this is the one that alpinehyperlite was referring to when he said 1/18 scale crawler, but I think one of these would be all sorts of fun http://losi.com/Products/Default.aspx?ProdID=LOSB0222
granted it's probably not a competition based vehicle but for $240 fully rtr I think it would be awesome to run. The more expensive ones, like you're talking about would be the much bigger competition rigs I think.

i ment a crawler, or a 1/18 vehicle. sorry. And you can get a complete crawler setup with the ax-10 kit or RTR for under $400 and its a complete 1/10 scale. It is good to build your kit because it makes you feel more proud of it because you know everything about it, because you put every screw into it.
