hi, anyone i saw a lot people convert the revo to FOC its that good or stick with reverse? thanks

Depends on what you are going to do with your Revo. A lot of bashers like to keep reverse, some don't. I'd say 99% of racers like the FOC/center differential set up. With the center diff / forward only conversion you not only reduce the number of gears in the tranny (rotating mass), but you can change diff oil to meet your needs. I haven't started racing, but the conversion made sense to me for weight reduction and a small gain in speed so I did it. Sometimes I still wish I had reverse but not that often.

Well yeah i would say it depends on what your after. if your a racer you wouldnt need it. BUT if you still like to bash you might wanna keep it. I enjoy having mine on my maxxs whichi dont race alot either so jmo.

as time wears on you will eventually have something go wrong with reverse/optidrive. so if that ever happens the FOC is cheap and easy to do. so its always an option.

when i first got my revo, it had revers but than all the sudden it would start acting erratic and switch into reveres itself and optidrive would fail safe for no reason. so i did a FOC.

i say it good to have for bashing but onces it starts acting a fool. ditch it for the FOC and you should have a lighter and faster accelerating revo
