I need a good touring car body for my touring car. It is for a 1/10 scale.

What car are you putting it on?

This is the car i got....its a 1/10 scale....i want to put some police LEDs or a barlight on it...
prefer it to be black so it will look kinda like a scale sheriff car...

I dont have anything that your looking for. Sorry.

Also, your front tires need to be switched. (they're backwards) lol.

lol ya that could be a problem :D try ebay for the bodies. They have more than you can imagine...

Its a craptech. He was braggin this car up a while ago. Another 70mph'er.. Kinda off topic, but Aj I thought you were never coming back here again? What happened to that?

Its the one that greenwing had. i bought it. I want a body for it. it has hpi brain, reciever, radio,engine,tires,front/rear end. but it has a smartech chassis.

I can even buy an old body any color and wash away the paint with paint thinner and spray paint it if i have to.

I wouldn't use painthinner,lol that would just melt a body,I've done it before,looked cool.

WtF is an HPI "Brain"?

Anyway, About the body... In my opinion you are going to need to measure the body, find out what the exact measurements are all around (Wheelbase, Lenghth, Width all that stuff) and then go to a good hobby website and find a NIP one that will fit.

Coming ehre and asking for abody that will fit is like asking if the new DOOM will run on your computer. We won't be able to help you unless you give us some specifics.

Most of the people with bodies here on RCNT custom paint thier own bodies, so even if you were to find someone to sell you one that fits you might want to go with a handpainted one first. I will give you a fun aspect in the hobby and you will know for sure3 witch body fits and witch ones don't.

brain=reciever.....my lhs calls it that so i did.

I didn't even know HPI made Recievers...

Methinks whoever told you it's an HPI was mistaken. The mill MIGHT be something that comes on an HPI, but I can't see it. If it is an HPI I sugest looking on the Proline or HPI site for a body because that is the only way you are going to find one. You need to know the measurements before just trying to grab any body.

Off note... the front body posts are kinda cute lol. Better hope you don't ever hit anything, cause if you do those will be the first to go. I doubt they would even survive fitting a body onto them. You might want to see if you can't locate the manufacturer of the thing and see if they sell a replacement or relocated version of the posts...

Everyones warned him about smartech numerous times but hes to big of a moron to figure it out, so let the boy learn the hard way.. Keep in mind this is the kid who plays with gunpowder for fun.. Hes a bright one..

Tweak that engine is a HPI T-15. And the radio he is talking about is actually an Aitronics Blazer sport, its just got an HPI sticker on it. Hes also got some backward HPI tires.

Everything else looks like smartech to me. I would assume a 200mm body would be what you need.

Just wondering, shouldn't this be in the FS/FT/WTB forum? I mean, if you're looking to BUY a body, I'd think posting a Wanted To Buy would help your cause a bit more.

Then again, I think Duratrax makes unbreakable stuff, that the Earth is flat, that men really do know what women want and are thinking about, that reality television is entertaining and that The Captain and Tennile are musical geniuses! So, take this with a grain of salt!

I was wondering abou tthe mill, it looked HPI-ish.

At least it has a decent RX on it.

ok, the engine is hpi, the tyres are hpi, the reciever is hpi(so it says, but it might be the sticker) the tank is smartech, the top chassis is smrtech. the little smartech stuff on there will cause no harm in performance/reliability on it so i dont care. the front it was trashed(who'd ah thunk it) so i replaced it. I switched the tyres so there fine now.

From center of the posts, the front posts are 2 1/2" apart, the rear posts are 2 1/2" apart, and the front posts are 11 1/2" from the rear posts.

thanks for everyones help(with the acception of 4u2nv) for helping me out. I am still interested in a body if anybody's got one!
