Anti Break Antenna Tube

What I do is buy a regular antenna tube, then buy water dropper tubing from the Hardware store and slide it over my antenna. Works GREAT!

After a rough tumble across chat rock asphalt and ripping the antenna clean out of the receiver, I use a piece of Traxxas fuel tubing in 1 foot length as my antenna tube in my E-Revo. Then I ran it through the back of the truck between the body mount and the wing brace and zip tied it to the body mount. After that, I used heat shrink around both ends of the tubing. The heat shrink I used around the antenna crimp nut is super stick and super stiff, and the stuff I used for the other end is bright yellow. Works wonders and I never break it. Other parts, on the other hand......yeah.

we were out bashin by my house and i broke my tube so i used a bottle rocket shaft and electrical tape, hahaha till i made it to the store the nextday it worked( i didnt have a extra fuel line but i like that idea

I keep hitting mid-throttle wheelies at about 25 mph and flipping on the lid on asphalt. It's ground the living crap out of 2 tubes so far. I'm gonna install a new tube and try the fuel line trick.

I just drilled a hole in the body and made the antenna to go out parallel with the bed. The prevents the rc to smash on top of it and smash it

I have a fool proof idea. If you ever BREAK off a tube again I will give you 1 doller. Guaranteed never to break a tube again!! STOP LANDING ON YOUR LID!!

i use a bendy straw.

WHAT, how's that work for ya ?:hehe: WHAT COLOR ?:p:

hmm just had an idea THIS IS NOT TESTED!!! but theres this nail polish called"hard as nails" maybe if you paint it on it may help a bit ? maybe

WHAT, are you serious.......surely you can't be serious ?:hehe::p::jk:

I WISH there was a brand of antenna tubing that was more durable, I have broken mine SO many times and bought countless tubes. And yeah I used fuel tubing to fix it

There is, it's called DUDBRO(never broken one):first_place:.....that's what I have, I have an ORANGE one on my LST2 now and I also have a YELLOW one.;):D
