Anybody have any experience replacing an antenna wire? I've got an LST2 and antenna wire got cut short by the roll cage and not sure what to do now... Solder a new wire onto the receiver board?? Any help is greatly appreciated!

i dont know all the how to, but yes you can buy replacement receiver wire, then you would solder it onto the board of the receiver...

hang on I'm sure a more knowledgeable member will reply shortly with all the details of how

Your LHS will have the proper wire. Don't splice, but solder it to the board. I hope you're good at soldering. Get it TOO hot, and you can do some damage.

I have spliced antenna wires back together; it works, but not nearly as well as replacing the antenna altogether. You lose a lot of range, not to mention run the risk of interference, by splicing.
