my reply to your thread drew the gun:

at the back of the engine wher the conrod ataches thers a pin on a spring that catches on a plate with a groove and hole, it clicks when it hits that hole.

mine does the same thing

its a pain in the ass so i swapped it out for a SH engine, great improvment. didnt even finish the break in with the ansmann i hated it so much. lol

yea i have the same problem i lean it out the slightest bit and it wont run but i got the tune all good now just dont know how long it will last haha but I'm thinking about getting a dynamite mach 2 .26 aparently its pacificly desind for truggy becuase i have a ansmann terrier so i hope to get into abit of racing

fair enough..... My one way bearing was covered in oil from what looks like the crank that made the pull starter slip too. Piece of crap...but i put it all back together and ran a tank on idle when i say idle i mean just off the clutch coming in. Ran pretty good for an abused motor seems ok its pretty rich but man it got hot so ill test it out tomorrow a bit more, try running it a bit more. Ill post up some pics when i have it all together and looking decent. Cheers dagon

i was thinking about racing but i like bashing more bmx tracks and doing the biggest jumps i can find. Do any of u guys know who makes good motors there are heaps out there maybe team infinity.. I had a look at a novarossi but they are sooooo dear, I'm not paying 600 bucks for a motor no way more like 200

yea seems good me and my freind just did races today and the engine was fine and ran awsome but the receiver somehow go water in it and now i need a new receiver!!!!!!

I'm putting that motor in the bin or relocating it to the docks to be used as a boat anchor for rc boats. for some stupid reason the motor got soooo hot it melted the pull starter string I've got the factory settings and even made it a little richer still it got that hot on 1/4 throttle.....TRASH i am shopping a new motor now i can get a sh .28 for 100 bucks but i dont know how crash hot they are its cheap i just dunno if they are junk or not

hey!!!!! I'm getting a new engine 2 try out a dynamite mach 2 they come in .21 or .26 witch it the one I'm getting or a .28 there cheap but reliable brand new $150 and just keep it for a while and keep tempering with it I've had some pretty bad engines
