Another E-maxx problum

Hey I was driving my car with someone and when i shift i hear a sound. The kid i was driving it with say that you should not hear that. i dont know if he is right it I thing it is fine. What do you thing is something mass up about it or is it fine. If it is not right is it going to mass my the car.

well check your spur gear i had 1 it made a sound it chewd it up and check your pioun to make share that the mesh is good and to make share that it is tight curtis

My E makes a sound when it shifts, but it's just the servo arm clicking the shifting rod into place. What kind of noise is it making. Mine makes a single click.

Both my E-Maxx trucks have audible gear changes.It is normal,as long as its not a loud noise,could indicate some tranny problems(check gears inside).

Are you shifting while running? In my experience, the e-maxx doesn't have a very smooth shifting transition while running. If the problem occurs while you're stopped, then there might be a problem in the tranny....you may want to pull it apart to look for stripped/loose gears.

Mine shifts better when I let up off the trigger before shifting. If I just hold the hammer down and try to shift, it wont go until I let up.
