Animus 18tr

I'm not buying the savage xs, I'm just going to upgrade my animus. What electronics do I need to use, I saw a guy who did it for like 60 bucks. Has anyone ever done this and what did you think

You will need a new RX and ESC to start. The Animus drivetrain isn't really up to brushless power stock.

I recently bought the animus to run just around the house as a stocker(my mamba 6800 rc18t is too fast). I wouldn't bother upgrading the animus. The platform is similar to the rc18, but it just isn't the same. The durability won't quite be there when its cartwheeling down the road, and that all plastic drivetrain will not hold up to it. I'd save for something like the rc18 if you want it similar to the animus. You can still get the old version 1 model with the shaft drive for $150ish. Just my 2Cents.
