Hi guys.

turns out the track arm at the rear of my T-maxx has threaded it's housing in the rear bulkhead. I bonded it and it worked for a while but the summosault I did at the weekend popped it out again so I'd like to now replace the rear bulk.

I normally get my parts (as I live in Ireland) from Wheelspin Models in the UK. When searching their site I found these and then these The former being the direct replacement and the latter being the aluminium ones. This of course got me interested in the upgrade but I found these on ebay.

There's a massive difference in price so am I missing something?

The only difference i see is that the cheaper one is from Hong Kong..

Enough said...

My GF bought some Alu Hop Ups for her Maxx Off eBay from Hong Kong and they wernt bad but the definatly wernt great...
The main thing she learned was ALWAYS use locktite on the screws into the Alum...

Loctite ftw..... You get what you pay for, don't skimp on bulkheads, they're the most important part of your suspension.

mmm, thanks for the help guys.

Well, one could go banana's buying every hop-up so I go with the rough theory; if it breaks, replace with standard. If it breaks again, upgrade. I think I'll just replace the bulks with standard plastic ones as they've actually only failed on one little thread. If they fail again after that, I'll consider the upgrade.
