Fail Safe + TRS (Throttle Return Spring) = No more money spent fixing accidents! I'm sorry that happen Jasen. But this is a perfect example of not running those two items - NONE of my RC's run without both!

Good luck on the repairs!
PD2

oh dude thats sucks so bad and i really feel for you,What happen did you go out of range, batts die? failsafe is the way to go but i would stay away from dynamite i hear the ornas are goos and the futabas but looks like you gat a ton of repairs to fix good luck...also FYI yous is spelled use!!

Pot calling the kettle black

Yo HB

Practice what you preach

ornas is spelled ofnas

goos is spelled good

gat is spelled got and grammatically should be "have".

All in fun

Mr T

It hard for me 2 use safety devices. i had bad experience w/ them. i bought 2 fuel filter in the last year and the both mad my truck run like crap......and 1 of them was 13 $$$$ !!!!!!!!!!

Been there. In fact, I'm waiting on parts, because my fail safe failed, and my buggy went WOT into a pine tree. Looks kind of like yours now. Good luck.

Because it was so hard to understand:

Rough Translation:
Oh, Dude that sucks so bad and I really feel for you. What happend? Did you go out of range or did the batteries die? Failsafes are the way to go, but I would recommend staying away from Dynamite. I hear that the OFNA and Futaba Fail-safe Units are very good. Looks like you have a ton of repairs to make. Good luck!

PS: Its "use" not "yous"!!

End Translation

Fuel filters versus fail safes. You really need to figure this stuff out. Fuel filters are there to help preserve your engine. As in prevent objects other than fuel from entering the engine. If your engines were running like crap because of them, odds are it was either placement, lack of cleaning, or poor tuning adjustments once the filter was in place.

That experience should not deter you from looking into fail safes and throttle return springs. Why? These two items have proven time and again that they can prevent things like what started this thread. Personally, I only use throttle return springs, but a combination of both is the recommended way to go.

skymaxx, i kno the difference between all that stuff.....i have a throttle return spring on my truck, it came w/ 1. i was just say'in that i have bad luck w/ fail-safes,fuel-filter, ect...

What's with people here lately? Since when did this become the English grammar forums?

No poop. WTF is up with you people, actually its pretty much one person and he knows who he is. If somebody has a hard time spelling or with punctuation its not your problem. I understand that sometimes it is difficult to understand, but common if you don't like it then don't post anything.

Back off!
