I am still using stock bulkheads. I am having a problem with a arm hinge pins breaking. Would aluminum bulkheads help?

no if anything theyll be worse foe the hinge pins get some titanium ones that will help a lot and keep the old stock ones just in case they sell them in tower hobbies

I had the aluminum bulkheads and not only did the hinge pins bend but so did the bulkhead i would keep the plastic ones.

Aluminum bulkheads with titanium hinge pins is the way to go, I have been running this combo on my maxx for years with no problems at all. But do NOT buy Integy bulks, they are weak garbage.

what kind of bulkheads are good?

bulks

GA bulks are good, if you can find hardcore racing bulks they to are good Integy SUCKS

x2 on the ga bulks. love mine with titanium pins.
