It's a VERY expensive upgrade. I would say the answer for most people is no.

I don't mean to disuade you... it's just that $300 is a big price tag for a hop up. I've done it to my truck but I've put hundreds and hundreds of dollars in my Maxx. However, it's necessary to keep in mind that I started upgrading and doing crazy stuff way before there were so many other 1/8 scale MT options on the market. When I got my TMaxx the only other trucks out there were the Savage25 and MGT I think. Plus, I got it as a gift.
