is it just me or is this year going by way to fast??? seems like yesterday it was 2007 and now its almost 2009 already.

I agree. I don't know what it is about this year but it is going by extremely fast for me as well. I talk about this all the time with a co-worker of mine. It's just going by crazy fast this year for some reason.

The older you get, the faster the years go by.

It is much worse when you have kids.

When they reach the age of 10 or so, you begin to realize that in no time they will be off to college. Once you realize it, time seems to pick up speed.

I have a 3 year old and a 4 mo. old. It's kinda freaky to think I'm going to have a child in school in just a couple years. I suppose that's not really out of the norm these days for my age but I did it the right way if you know what I mean...

Amen to that. I can't believe my daughter is in the 6th grade. :whhooo:
We were looking through old pictures of her and my son the other night, hard to believe how fast time goes once they start school. A few more years and she'll be driving and trying to go on dates (yes I said trying!:hehe:).

Rob hit the nail on the head.... The older you get, the faster it goes by. Get married and have kids.... it goes by twice as fast. I am 31 years old and I was 26 when I met my wife.... seems like decades ago. So much has changed. Hell, I can remember when we hit the "Y2K" can't believe that was almost 10 years ago. I was just talking with a co-worker of mine. I have been with my current job since I was 21 years old!! I feel old right now! LOL

Well they say if you get married you'll live longer....

Well....it will sure as hell feel like it anyway! :hehe:

I can't frigin belive I have been out of school for 2 years, and as of next year no longer be a teen. WTF happen! lol.

i got another b-day creaping up and i realized I'm already gonna be 27.. thats almost 30!! :whhooo:
yea my girlfriend has already told me i have to help her out when her 9 year old starts dating. I'm thinking "bad boys 2" style :D may need some help alpine!! lol

thanksgiving is right around the corner, I've gone dirt bike riding the last 6 years on thanksgiving but i sold my bike a few months back so might have to go crawling instead. can't forget halloween either, i hate it, i sit by my window and make sure no little bastards try to eff with my house or car.

I have to work thanksgiving, no dirt bike riding for me either damnit! I feel your pain man.

Time does seem to speed up as you get older. As each year passes, it takes up an ever decreasing space in your accumulated life experience.

It's funny how certain memories keep popping up at diferent times. I still have memories of my first flight at age 3. That's the youngest I can remember, after that it's my 5th birthday.

So how far back can you remember? And Rolex no stories about the Tea Party. :p:

I rememeber when i was 4 or 5, i was with my mom in the car and i crawled out of my seat and went to the front and when i was crawling over the seat, i slipped and grabbed onto the steering wheel and we wrecked lol We were ok though, maybe just a little brain damage to me LOL
