I looked at Alpines slash this morning and just had to have the beadlocks, haven't driven it yet but they are Proline Switch tires and Proline beadlocks. again Alpine just stop posting pictures and I wont have a problem:hehe:

That looks bad-ass, as long as you stay brushed motor. Brushless will make some expensive paperweights.

Right now, stock wheels, until i get some good beadlocks, such as aluminum or CAC like chip had.

Edit: I did have to glue the hell out of them.

yeah it would have to be strong, that thing scoots plenty with the 7c 5000 that I got from cheapbatterypacks.com for $50 I am thinking about racing it in the spec class next week for fun..

yeah stock is the bomb i want to get another one and leave it stock for racing and mudding purposes

Keep the stock wheels then, you are going to have to put them back on for the races.
As i said in another post, when i get my big LSU Game check, imma get another one to keep stock.

theres no other feeling like seeing a slash cover in mud and under the water. Then just grabbin the bumper and taking the hose to it and thats it.then the next day just take it out and do the same thing too it.can't anymore right now tho its brushless.oh and did i mention damn this thing throws some gravel

I'm my baton rouge bash vid on youtube, you can hear my brother whining because i threw rocks on him. Hit him in the nuts once during a peel out, and we all had a good laugh.

i just got my slsh today and it is way better then i thought it would be!the thing flies i couldnt imagine a B/L in that thing way too fast but if i know me i will be putting one in.if there is anyone considering buying a slash just do it!

Agreed! When I was making plans to get one I was set on getting a brushless system to make it fast... needless to say I will still probably go BL with it some time but it is fast enough now for sure. Especialy the fact if you go BL then it is no longer water resistant. :\ So that stock motor and Esc seems to get better all the time. :D
