Hello Guys.
Today is my third day in the beautiful state of Alaska. We landed in Anchorage on Tuesday. This place is beautiful. Sorry for the late notice but this is the first time I could get on a computer.

Right now I'm in a Lodge called Great Alaska. It is such a beautiful place. I am soon going to bear camp to see some bears and come back and fish for some King Salmon. Any Tips?

This place has the coolest sun "setting" times ever! Every night in the summer, the sun sets at about 1:00AM and rises at 4:00AM. There is so much daylight time you dont know when to sleep. Our plan of "attack" is Anchorage-Kenai River-Homer-Kenai River-Anchorage. Those are the places were staying at. In homer, we will go flounder fishing. I heard that those things can grow to be about 300#'s. Man thats huge! Any tips?:hehe:

Well, Ill get back to you guys soon! I miss my savage...but Alaska is soo much fun. BTW: its only like 60º's so its not that cold!:D

My cousin lives not too far from where you are. How long are you going to be there and what do you want to do?

Tips for fishing?!?! Yeah, just one, HOLD ON TIGHT!

Those salmon will hit all day long so be prepared to be tired!

Sounds Cool, Were actually fishing for King Salmon right now. We just got back from bear camp in Kenai. It was realy beautiful my aesthetics really kicked in the clutch. We saw about 20 bears. There were two sow's (females) with three cubs a piece.

The whole bear camp thing was kinda freaky. Were in a tent which is surrounded by electrical wires and the guide says that the bears can easily go through the wires so dont eat at night! Man i was freaking out the whole night.

Later on were gonna head up to homer to do some flounder fishing. I already hooked up to a King but it got away because the damn guide had the drag set to tight. He looked jealous because I caught a fish before him...too bad it got away. Thats all just fish stories.

Well this is my second update. Ill keep you all posted on my every moves. I hope i get access to a computer up in homer. I bought one thing for my savage so far...its kinda stupid though. Its one of those wrenches (T) that...well its one of those glo plug wrenches that everyone has, but I sold my old one to my friend so i Got a new one, its a multi-purpose one from Duratrax.

Well back from 7 hours of fishing and I caught a 21pound King Salmon. My dad caught a 44pound King Salmon. It was a pretty good fight but I still think saltwater fish are stronger. Ima go sleep now, I had to wake up at 4:15 this morning.

Did you barbacue the salmon? Its the best way to eat it. Slice a steak, get a square of foil. Stick in a 2 slices of lemon, one for each side of the steak. Next use lemon pepper , and Ted and Barney Seasoning (or your favorite). Stick in a nice hunk o butter and wrap it up and seal it with the foil. Now it takes about 1 hour to cook them but dont open the foil until after 45 mins. Flip every 10-15. This is a simple failsafe recipiet I made up. I am famous round my parts for making it though.:flamer:
