I have one and wouldn't change at this point for any other radio. I have been using the M series for over 6 years now and love it.
Take a look at the all the top drivers at any given National race and see what they use. More likely then not they use the M series radio by choice. Speaks for itself.
I have fondled the M11 a few times and while it is similar in weight to my 3PKS, I don’t like the way the weight is distributed which is why I ended up with the 3PKS.
As far as features on the M11, it is a top notch radio with more features than most guys will ever use. I really like the graphical display for some of the adjustments. If my choice were based solely on features and display, the M11 would be in my radio box.
Don't get me wrong. I love my M8. I just want a pure spektrum system now. Too bad the price is so high for the M11 with FHSS. The Nomadia react is much cheaper or even the hokie looking DX3R.
The React does have a strong feature set and its the lightest unit out, BUT.... its plagued with down time. Their technical support and repair departments are top shelf and rightfully so, they keep real busy. In the large scale RC market that they are concentrating on we see post after post about how great the radio is but its in the shop again. I'm sure given time they will get it together and have a reliable system out of the box but they have a long way to go from what I can see.
I have my eye on the new Spectrum ERRRRR....... Forgot the number now..... Its got the flat display and uses 4 batteries. DX3-X?X?
I have the M11, but have not used it too much. I am setting up all of my R/Cs with the spektrum recievers so they can all use one remote. Should be nice when it is all done.
Another high end radio to consider is the KO Helios EX-10. It is very lightweight and with the drop down angle wheel your hands feel very natural holding it. I may eventually switch over to the KO, but right now I run the 3PK with Spektrum and love the feel of it. Very balanced and the graphical displays are *almost* as nice as the M11.
