Any of you into them?
Had one when I was a kid. Never had thought about one for 30 years or so. Always had to have something with a bang.
Got interested again a few months ago. It's amazing how far they have come. Amazing how expensive some of them are too. Could buy a .45 Kimber for what they want for some of them. http://www.pyramydair.com/cgi-bin/model.pl?model_id=824 $1700?
Just an example...

Ordered a couple of pistols yesterday. Just wanting something to tinker with. Nothing high tech, just something to hop up.

Funny ya mentioned this, I was cleaning my front closet today and found a couple of my old ones. I had a couple pistols. One looks like a 357 and the other one like a old german type pistol. I was thinking of tinker with them a little bit. The one has a bad O-ring though if I remember right.. Anyway, yeah there pretty cool.

I was thinking of picking up an airsoft gun to plink around with. After seeing what a quality blowback gun with all the mods goes for, I decided I'd rather just pick up a Browing Buckmark or other small caliber handgun. I still have a couple airguns from when I was younger but the seals on them have all dried out and they don't hold air very well. The link to the crossman gun looks pretty nice, I think those have been around for quite some time. For the price it looks like a fun backyard shooter.

I am probably going to pick up one of the lower range Buckmarks this summer and bling it out. Tactical Solutions has a line of nice bull barrels and grips for them.

I was also looking to get the Sig Saur Mosquito after handling one at the last gun show but the reviews on them have been a mixed bag. The zinc slide seems to be causing people a lot of feeding problems and it only takes certain brands of ammo. I figure the tried and true Buckmark is a better gun. I'm thinking of starting out with the pistol, and then later adding one of the Buckmark rifles. I love the look of the factory stocks on them.

I love air guns. haven't dropped a whole lot of money, but love to have wars with a bunch of the guys every once and a while.

I have a crossman 1377 and love it. Great fun in the backyard, after the dogs are penned up.

Yea the kids andI have thhem...we have major skirmishes in the woods....they are cheap ones though...perhaps this season we will upgrade to the powered ones....great fun....til you get plinked...;)

Don't mean to bust on you Talon, but guns are for targets, not people! Paintball is one thing, maybe even the airsoft (never shot one), but BBs and pelets don't make safe ammo against people. Just my 2 cents

Airguns are cool I have a 2250B and am thinking about getting a Benjamin 397, But after getting my .17 rimfire I am not sure if that will happen. Digger you will love that 1377C i had one and loved it. I shot it till it fell apart lol.

Almost got the 2250b. Started to order a 2250 from Crossman's site.
A .17 is top of the list for me to get next, maybe...
Been wanting to do another 1022, put a little more money in the next one? Almost bought a mini-14 a month ago. And I would like to get a .45 or .40 or maybe a GP100? Been wanting one since they first came out....

So many firearms, so little money....

Sweetdiesel, I have got this Buckmark http://www.browning.com/products/catalog/firearms/detail.asp?value=006B&cat_id=051&type_id=427 Grips have been changed, but it's the same gun. The camper's were about $200 at the time.

Found this on another forum. Download the first issue free. http://www.americanairgunhunter.com/agquart.html

Having a blast with the ones I ordered. Some of the "visashot" targets from wally world, sitting on the deck, maybe a little something on the grill...
Can't do that with any of my other pistols.

Little 5yr old grand-daughter was over couple days ago. Asked to shot the pellet guns. Have to stay right with her, but we have a blast. :D

Check the mag out. It's free.

Funny you should bring his up Digger... Lately, I've been wanting to get an air gun. I had one about 15 years ago that was made by a company named Benjamen. That thing was awesome.

It was a single shot, bolt action pistol with a pump-up setup. It was powerful too. It put anything Crossman put out to shame.

I thought about getting one. I have the walmart special crossmans, but I have toyed with the idea of getting one with a little gusto. In fact everytime I look at the Cabella's or Bass ProShops catalogs. LOL I think I am going to hold out though and get the Mark III, and the 10-22 I have had my eye on. So many wants so little money! :)

Nice buy Digger! Those look like they would be alot of fun!

I bought the best one they had at my Wal-Mart a couple months ago to control squirrels (before the .22) and it rocks. I think its a Gamo Bigcat or something like that. Break action barrel and a 3x9 power scope. Not too bad on accuracy, although I have been hunting squirrels at close to 100yds. Amazingly enough, the pellet still has quite a bit of power at that distance.

I got one at a gun show a year or so back. Its a semi auto hand gun. If it wasn't for the red on the tip you wouldn't know the difference from a real one at first glance.

It extremely accurate and powerful. I got it for Pidgin patrol here at the house. Needless to say I drag it out every few months and do the deed for a few days and the are gone. I paid close to 200.00 for the damn thing but its worth it.

I have a Beeman rifle that I got new about 25 years ago. It is spring powered and single shot. Thing is well made and I remember shooting through a ¾” piece of plywood with ease with the pointed pellets. Many a bird and a few jack rabbits had their lives cut short by the mighty Beeman.

Now I want to drag it out and take some shots.

yeah, i like airsoft. it just so happens me and my friend were playin airsoft with some other kids. he had like an $138 ak-47 with 390 psi! the one i had was 190 :censored:

anywho, airsoft is like paintball, but it doesn't hurt as much, u can't see it wen u get hit, and its cheaper :lick:

EDIT: lol, i forgot, one of the other kids got hit with a bb, and he had a soda can drink hole sized wound!
