hey guys i have a 4908 3.3 t maxx i know the tune is bad but I'm wondering if i have a a leak in my tank because everytime the fuel gets to right about half or a little lower it shuts down and i have to wait about 10 min before it will start. usually temp is around 240 250 . will this make the rig hard to tune.

leaking tanks give some people trouble and some can run okay. if your tank is leaking, there will be fuel on your chassis plate. its often difficult to see where the tank is leaking, but fuel will always build up on your chassis and leave a gummy oily mess. if this is not the case, tighten the o-ring on your tank cap to keep the tank pressurized, trucks will commonly run poorly or not at all about halfway through the tank if you have never tightened this sealing ring.

go to utube type in squrilroid and search his viedo on air leaks thats how I fixed mine there's more than just the fuel tank to check for leaks.. carb base, lines, exuhast etc
