Hey, I've been reading about air leaks and it seems to apply to my problem but when i check for leaks the only one i can find is on the output shaft bearing. the air bubbles come through the bearing seal not between the crank. is this normal or acceptable? the motor is a sirio .23 monster with probably only 10 tanks of fuel through it and i still can't get it to stop overheating even when it pumps out smoke through all throttel ranges. so if anybody has any suggestions I'm all ears.

Change the bearing, I have had that problem before as well. It very well may be the issue.
Keep in mind that engine probably has a ton of pinch and is not broken in yet. It is going to run hot if you push it too hard too soon.

OK i do hope that is my problem. So how many tanks of fuel will it take untill it starts to run cooler and more reliable? thanks.

after 10 tanks you should be pretty good, i say change that bearing ...if its leaks a bit now ,it ll leak a lot later and anyway you dont need a big leak to mess with your engine ,so i would start by that..remember that it can be a pain to change you might have to heat your engine casing or maybe cool down the bearing with some co2 to take it out..(only heat OR freeze..if you do both at same time you could crack the block)
