Air filter upgrade?

I would advise that you not use that unless you are building a show truck. The reason foam air filters are used is because you oil them and the oil traps the dirt inside the foam cells. With paper (or whatever that is) style air filters, the dust will just go right through and crud up your engine.

All the filters shown on that page are spiffy bling. They all have paper filtering material. They're fine for show, but eventually the fine dust will penetrate and start to wear down your engine.
For maximum protection, you really need to go with a Motor Saver filter. Dry foam outer filter for the rough stuff, and an oiled inner filter for the finest dust particles.

EDIT:
Person beat me, so we have duplicate information.

I hate when I do that too!
