Hi i have a stramge question and look a lot of thread but I'm still wondering.

I had read somewhere that we have to oil the outer filter but not the inner one but some peoples told me yo oil the inner one but not the outer one and some company sell preoiled filter and there are the inner one that are preoiled so um all mixed up with that .

can someone help me with that ??? :surrender

thank

You oil the inner filter. The outer one stays dry, and most of the dust can be shaken off it. The inner oiled one will catch the smallest particles when they stick to the oil.
If you oil the outside foam, you'll soon have a very oily mud blocking the air flow.

Thank man ,

thats what a did the first time , maybe thats why i had so many trouble to tune up my engine.
