Are there any common alternatives for air filter oil one could use in a pinch for a day or two?

I actually just bought some Foam Filter Oil at a Motorbike repair shop. The brand is AMSOIL (High Tack Foam Filter Oil).
I swear that's what traxxas uses to fill their little bottles. It's red, smells the same and when you put some on your fingers and pull apart your fingers slowly it will make some filaments just like the traxxas Foam Filter Oil. I paid 5.75 + tx for 8 Oz bottle. I just use it to fill my little handy traxxas bottle.
