I am using the Motor Saver Filter.

Used the stock air filter pipe to clear the spur and enlarged the opening in the rear of the foam filter holder to accept the pipe.

Works great.

Motor saver filter for the REVO and the motor saver pre-filter. Works great on my O.S. 18!

O.S. 18tm and Motor Saver filter here too but I didn't get the prefilter because it didn't look like it would clear the spur gear ..... might have to look again

i use the motor saver air filter for the revo/tmaxx and the filter neck that came with it, and i have plenty of clearance between the spur and filter neck. i have the os 18tm. i use 20% odonnel fuel.

Motor Saver filter & neck on my OS 18TM....I actually like the Motor Saver neck better than the stock revo neck because it mounts the filter up alot higher than the stock one and I dont have to worry about it hitting my gears.

O.s .18tm --OD 20% , Lc3 plug ,motor saver on stock neck and trinity pipe.

klwzscale,

man I never thought of that.. that is a great idea!!

My motor saver neck sits directly infront of the the head and since I am running a hummer body, I rely on air flow from the front window to cool the head. However, I will try the stock pipe to move the air filter out of the way of the air flow cooling the head.... THANKS!!!!!

I run Traxxas Top Fuel 20%, O.s. 18TM, LC3 plug, stock pipe, motor saver with a stock neck...

Nitro Nollie,

I can not take all the credit as I saw this on another site. If I recall correctly you have to cut off the "nipple" on the back of the foam holder and then slowly enlarge the opening. It does not have to be opened that much. If you look at the stock pipe you may think you need a large hole but you don't. If you make it too large you will have dust sucked in from the pipe/filter connection point.

Once I cut the nipple off I used the small sanding drum on my dremel tool to slowly enlarge.

If you make it too big glue with "Sho-Goo" to seal it.
