Is there a general rule on bodies you can mount on different platforms? I have seen grave digger bodies for hpi trucks but does anyone know of one that looks good on the revo?

also whats the deal with bodies... i got a line on a cool old 40s willys body but not sure what it came off of originally... will most bodies require a lot of mods or look funny on platforms not designed for? it looks like the body mounts are adjustable to a point... whats the general rule?

I don't know that there's any general rule. I look for bodies by what the manufacturer says they're for usually. You can swap them around, usually by drilling new post holes and or adjusting the body posts. I think car bodies on monster trucks look dumb, but that's all personal preference. As for your Gravedigger, the one for the HPI will fit the Revo unless it's the extended 3.3 version. Parma I believe has the 1/8 scale that should work for that.

I'm not so sure about that... I've seen some pretty cool real monster trucks with odd ball bodies... i had a buddy with a 4x4 vette back in the 80s... although it did look funny ... you might be right on that point...lol

The only rule on body mounting is what the person is capable of doing it .As far as what you put on well that matters how good you want it to look or how outrageous you want it. Your call!:whhooo:

Id say for sure if its meant to fit a savage or a maxx or possible a revo it would be fine, if you can mount it, itll do
