Aeroscout Lights

Hello all, I'm very new to this RC plane world and oh boy have I been missing out! I've got an Aeroscout that I'd like to add some LED's to and being so new, clearly I'll need some help. I've got this kit

and I think I can figure it out but I'd also like ta add two of these as well

other part of it is I'd rather have them as stand alone connected to their own battery if possible, small of course to not cause too much added weight. Any and all help is much appreciated.

OP says they want them connected up to their own battery in their post.

Ok so tell them how to hookup a 6volt led to a 12v battery. a Zeiner.. diode oh and they want them on a switch..LOL

any ideas? directions on where to look, i'm clearly missing some critical component here, being new I will prob obviously miss stuff that may be obvious to a few that are more experienced / much "cooler" LOL than I. the help is greatly appreciated
