How fast, out of the box?

What happens when you remove that plastic restricter in the carb? More top speed, or more acceleration?

From what I have seen you can expect around 40mph once it is properly broken in and tuned.

This car isn't about absolute strait line speed, its all about the handling and cornering that this 4wd touring car is so famous for.

Removing the restricter will give you an all around better performance once you have re-tuned it.

"I believe" they include the restricter to comply with ROAR racing regulations. I could be wrong about this so please correct me if I am.

Thanks for the info.
I just picked one up last night (#2041 accord blue) and was wondering what to expect.
The radio seems kind of "cheap", but...as long as it works, right?

I plan on breaking it in with Odonnel 20% nitro.

I'm hoping that I can find a nice place to run it (empty costco parking lot or???)
