RC Driving Style
Hey everyone, I have 2 RC10 gt's with new engines on them and they are broken in but I can't seem to keep them tuned good. I'm still learning these nitro engines. It seems no matter what i do they dont want to tune. One engine is just totally out of tune that it is stubborn to start if that. The other runs and from a stop position if i punch it it bogs out and wants to die. From watching videos on tuning that would be the low speed needle if i am correct but doesn't seem to help weather I turn it clockwise or counter clockwise. I'm wondering if possibly I should use different type of fuel, i can't remember what I'm using now. I am pretty good at learning and figuring things out but i have to admit those little AE .15 are very unpredictable and stubborn. So I need some advise and/or tips. Thanks
 
How old is the fuel?
How old are the rc10's themselves
Are the airfilters dirty?
Did you set the 2 needles back to factory specs yet?
 
I'll also add:

Are the glow plugs good?
Is the glow plug igniter charged?
 
The fuel is old thats why I'm thinking changing fuel for sure and the cars are old but i totally restored them from ground up like new tanks, fuel lines and so on. The engines are still fairly new, not even a year and i dont run them all the time but yes filters are clean and as far as the needles i only turned on one of them to get it tuned and the other i may have to reset them.

yes the glow plugs are good and igniters are charged.
 
Get yourself some new fuel and start from there, you wont be able to get even a decent tune with too old a fuel
 
Yes i will for sure get some new fresh fuel. I just run them in the streets, any suggestion on type of fuel for just running on the streets?
 
20% with a medium heat plug
What brand fuel is available to you?
 
I couldnt tell you the brands that a couple hobby stores sell, i know they have a few different brands. Now when you say 20% can you explain the 20%?
 
20% nitro
