I just bought the Acronis True Image Home 2011, and currently it's backing up my computer on an external drive.
Any opinions on this program? I always ran Roxio Go-Back, but that's not compatible with Vista.

Acronis makes great products, I've used a number of them in my days. Including True Image - perfect for copying data from an old drive to a new drive in computer upgrades.

For backup purposes I've been using Mozy.com - very nice program. I've also been using DropBox.com to store smaller files in between the 3-4 computers I use each day. Makes it much easier than having to remember to carry around a flash drive or email files to me. Drop it in DropBox and it's there on any computer.

I'm not sure of the options on Acronis, but I've heard lots of good things about it. That was the backup software of choice when I worked at Dell.

That's good to know. I got it all set up last night, and it seems to offer even better options than Go-Back.
I'll also be taking advantage of their on-line backup.
