Accelerated rampage xt redcat

Hi I’m hoping to get answers here my gas rc rampage xt has a very high rev I just bought it off someone didn’t know it was accelerated. When I turn it on it wants to zoom away I have to press my brakes on the transmitter for it to stay still is this a carburetor thing?

Sounds more like the throttle is sticking open. Is the throttle trim on the TX set correctly? Shouldn't it have a throttle return spring? Not sure on 5th scales, but nitros have throttle return springs to prevent WOT issues.
