Help i just bought a vintage nitro, but I'm just curious if its a ABC design or ABN. Only thing i know is that it has awesome compression, as for a smallblock. I guess its a ALPS engine, never heard of that...

maybe it is even something else than ABC or ABN?? btw i know this is my second/third post today, just being excited
Edit: its not even seized. I did expect that because the owner left some nitro in the tank, which i already cleaned now

Hard to tell, I feel like I've seen that engine badge before but can't find anything online. If you take the head off and pull the cylinder, ABN cylinders are typically silver all-over, while ABC cylinders are gold/brass on the outside and silver on the inside.

Ohh nice! I didn't expect this actually from a vintage plane engine

Looks like a plane engine.
I just wanted to get one of those engines. There would be no way for me to fly a nitro plane in the netherlands, so i decided to just buy it with a vintage kyosho/thundertiger chassis. (Still not even sure what brand it is after purchase😂)
