I can't wait to let my 8T rip on this track we're building.

Nice job.

I'm jealous.

that looks similar to the track in my hometown. just make sure you put some drainage ditches in there. they just installed them onto my home track like a month ago because every time it rained it would be flooded for days

nice track man I'm jelous too, I'm trying to find some land to lease in the north bay but i can't find sh@$%#!

Yup drainage will be a problem. The water level is quite high. In the last picture just beyond the double you can see the beginnings of a drainage hole. It will not interfere with the track layout hopefully.

The pipe is actual drainage pipe. We got almost 2000' of it for free. Everything but the contractor has been freebies. Carpets, boards for the outer perimeter and the pipes.

Nice lay out you have there, great looking track. Like what was mentioned before, drainage, that looks like it could turn into a pond really quick.

This kinda surface could easily turn to blue grove. Nice.

Sweet lookin' track man! I like that switchback with the jump. How are you guys gonna handle marshaling that? It seems pretty feasible to take the jump at a sharp angle and cut the corner in the air. It would be tough cuz it'll really play havoc with a car's attitude in the air but man would be be a fast jump... sweet!

Lessen the top picture of my latest pics has a red shovel a little to the left of the center. We mad a plateau for a turn marshall there.

We are getting very close to opening this track. The planned opening date is June 15th. That is the weekend that I'm in France watching Le Mans live. :D
Bit of a bummer really, but I'll manage.

That looks awesome...Did you just build this from scratch or go by some guidelines...The reason I ask is about a month ago I was throwing some horse shoes in my town and I found an old RC track that had at least 2 courses I think there was 3 but they had ripped everything up and it was overgrown so I am thinking about contacting my local city (i think it's on their land) and possibly try to rebuild it as a community project b/c I have seen at least 4 other trucks besides mine.

I have personally never been to a track to drive my truck (i have been to them to watch practice and a couple races) so I'm green to it and want to find as much information that I can and if they allow me to rebuild it, I want to do it right...

Thanks

This was a from scratch build. On the other side of the driving stand there's a old 1/10 scale track that we used to use. That was until someone came up with the idea to start a club.

We were fortunate to have a stand already built.

This track may have to give way for a pit area in the future.
