hi again. Thought id let you know how things went on after some great advice from alexisdabest1.
Basically i followed the factory settings instructions from the SH Engines site but could not get the buggy to run correctly. So after joining this forum & asking for help in identifying my buggy alexisdabest1 said he thought it was a Himoto HI935 & directed me to the Himoto Racing site. He was 100% spot on & i found the full user manual & saw the factory settings on the carb were supposed to be 2 1/2 CCW on the HSN & 2 1/2 on the LSN. After a bit of blood, sweat & tears were shed - she ran like I've never heard her before. Check out my YouTube vid & see the look on my kids faces when they finally got a turn. Haha.
Many thanks again to everyone involved with this site but especially alexisdabest1. You are now known as alexisdabest1 The Legend by my 2 kids :hehe: :first_place:
Thank you

Well I'm sure you know how it is, when you reach a goal your next one is just that little bit further away. After a successful run the other evening - she's now sat on my coffee table in hundreds of little bits. Having a major make over lol. I've ordered a new front diff housing cuz the original is split, new front wheel hubs & wishbone mounts cuz my ones are looking very fragile & have sprayed the chassis plate & canopy a different colour cuz orange isn't a favourite of mine. Lol. Also refilled the shocks & regreased the gearbox & rear diff.
Strangely enough, as i write this message - the postman delivers my spares & new infared temp gun. Haha. I think you can safely say I'm now a Nitro addict Haha. Ill add more vids etc soon.
I'm just working on how to install some kind of reverse gear mechanism. So watch this space. Haha.

Hi again. Well I'm almost done with the rebuild. Just waiting for a 2-speed gearbox to arrive now. Then it's all done. Have a look at this video i threw together of the progress i made. I'm rather pleased with myself lol.

Ok so now my 2-speed box arrived & all my work is about to be put to the test. Here's some pic's I've added to my album but found it a bit of a long slow process uploading them. So ill try linking them from my Facebook album. Vids to follow on how she performs with the new gearbox :-)

it looks good, but you have to buy some air filter oil for the air filter otherwise ur engine will die. :):)
