Ok went out today to run the TC3 and it wont start, the motor is getting gas the carb is set right. Then I unscrew the spark plug on top of the motor and it looks good still. Is there a way to tell if its bad by looking at it? Also can a glow igniter go bad? How long does it normally last as well?

The car sounds like it might start when I pull but no fire. I'm guessin its the spark plug, possibly. It was running perfect yesterday.:ponder2:

the "spark plug" is really called a glow plug ...& yes you can test it, take it out of the engine & hook the glow igniter to it, it should glow a nice orange

There are a lot of possibilities. Test the glow plug like RP said. Just remove it and push it into your ignitor. If it glows bright then it's fine. If not, check your ignitor battery. Remember, the engine needs 4 things to run. Fuel, air, compression and spark. Check all 4. From the sounds of what you describe, if the glow plug is ok, you may just need to prime the engine a little more to get it running.

A common problem for beginners is that they think that a charged glow ignitor will last all day.
If you leave it on the glow plug for an extended amount of time, it will die.
