I highly recommend removing all the bearings and maintaining them. After a High pressure wash you will be amazed how much water gets into them.

Nothing like a clean machine
 
My guess is a poor annodizing job. My dad's revo did the same thing and I think it's happening to all of the Revos.
 
Holy crap the head looks like a stock 2.5! No color at all. you guys must bre running those things lean as hell! I have seen 4 revo's at my LHS and all the heads are still looking good. What temps do you run?

COngrats on the mill. I love mine as well. I haven't ran her in a while but I am itching to soon !
