Lookin good ken. How many hours you got in it so far?
where did you find that hub for the sproket at?
why fix it.....
its a drag car and is meant to run over a short period of time in a straight line so if u can get it to run for say 1:10 thats enough to warm it up and then restart it and go for it.... if u plan on running it for 1:10 at WOT then you would want ALOT of wide open straight.
Just me opinion

your saying that you only get approx 1:15 and then it stalls again??
its a drag car so why does it need to run longer than that??
-warm it up
-restart it.... making sure its only got enough fuel in the tank to get it to the other end of the strip (LESS WEIGHT)
-go for it
i highly doubt that your going to find anywere that its going to be run longer than a minute at WOT anyways
hope thats clearer
ALSO WANNA COMMENT ON WHAT AN AMAZING JOB YOU HAVE DONE ON THIS BUILD... IF I HAD THE BRAIN POWER, RESOURCES AND FUNDS I WOULD BE BUILDING SOMETHING ALONG THE SAME LINES
VERY IMPRESSED

ok thanks i ve understood now . mate if you had a brain like mine you would be crazy cause thats me lol![]()
oh dont get me wrong I'm not a idiot haha i just struggle to put idears from my head into practice.... like i have great ideas just never manage to get em any further from my head![]()
i know you know what you're talking about but i dont know much about engines . i was thinking of putting a nipple in the exhaust pipe and feed it to the tank ? thanks for your help
i think thats a must.
did you just have the fuel tank to the engine before, no tubing from exhaust?
just so you know as you said you dont know much about engines, the nipple that goes on the exhaust then has rubber tubing going to the fuel tank that builds pressure inside the tank to push the fuel through to the engine. i think if you had no pressure pipe before thats why its cutting out, its trying to bring the fuel in but can only suck a little in.
i am at a loss of words.......
