I got the 9095 lights today, bought myself a birthday present. Front and rear lights were indeed a direct replacement. The 6588 power supply is a different story. There is no way to screw it to the body. I found a 6554 and a 6555 adapter kit. I can't find on the Traxxas site what one to use. Has anyone used either one of them in a Stampede VXL 4x4. Its tight. Temporarily I hot glued it next to the reciever.

My tools of choice are 2.5mm drill bits and an M3 tap. And a pack of M3 hardware from amazon. Just make your own mounting holes.
For lights I generally buy LED in bulk and then resistors and capacitors. Traxxas light kits work well. Most cheap ones don't.
The black got glue sticks are also better for RC than the clear ones.
