9 cell??

I just bought a slash and was wondering if anyone knew about how long a 9 cell nimah wwould last me? I dont have the money for lipos and charger yet. As far as a mouting bracket goes I've got one that would work. Any ideas?

The slash will not handle 9 cells. the most i run is 7 cells. your run time depends on mAH. the more the longer. right now i have a 7 cell 5000 mAH battery from Cheap batteries.com.

I meant to also tell you that i have a vxl3 brushless system i have on it.

a 7 cell nimh 5000 lasts about 45 min on the VXL, that is on that same cheap battery packs battery. they work great I would go that route if money is an issue. btw the VXL will handle 9 cells but they are hard to come by without building your own and a bargain brand lipo is about the same cost....

Have the 9 cell...

I already have a 9 celland a 6 cell venom 3600 4600. They just suck on it.only last bout 10 minutes.

lipo, know you said not yet, but its the only way........ lol. Its a HUGE difference.
