Anyone have issues with the 8b axles? My friend just bought one (RTR version) 2 days ago and had both rear dog bone axle pins come out while driving the first day and the second day had the front drive line pin come out! I am buying one tomorrow, again RTR verison, hope mine does better than that! Can you just remove them before using it and loctite them in?

Seems to be a otherwise real killer buggy.

CVD? Sorry I am such a newbie, I drive well, just do not know all the updates parts yet. I think I know what it stands for, constant volacity drive?, that eliminates the pin...correct? And then you heat shrink it to keep the dirt out? Who makes them...Lundsford? Losi?

Ooops, I misread your post. They just put a "boot" or some heat shrink over the end of the axles where the pin is...correct?

yup like this.

both my neighbors got RTR 8s over the summer.
one had 3/4 of the axles do this, the other has had no axle probs at all

contact Team Losi customer service. they will likely send you a set of axles under warrenty.

Cool, thanks for the pic! How are the eight's holding up otherwise?

same with both nibs a few areas of tire coming unglued from the rims and ofcourse throt/brake servo deaths, but all is good other than that

So I got my 8ight and broke it in, then drove on 2-3 tank fulls of nitro. After the run I checked my axles, and sure enough, both rear axles (to the tires) dogbones where halfway out. I bought new ones and replaced them, but does any one know of a good way to fix the ones I have that are half way out?

One person told me to hold the small pin in a vise and bend it a little, then hit it back in, another one told me to "dimple" then ends with a punch. any suggestions?
