Could someone please tell me the difference between a 75MHz and a 25MHz radio if they are the identical brand and model radio? For example, can two people be using a 75MHz JR XS3 radio at the same time without interference problems? Or would it be better to get a 25MHz version of one, and the 75MHz of the other? Does it matter at all? Why do they even make two MHz versions of the identical radio? Which MHz is better? Thanks for putting up with all my rediculous questions. LOL

First off the two frequencies designated to the US for land based RC are 75Mhz and 27 Mhz.

To answer at least one of your questions; "Can two people run with the same radio on the same frequency without interference" YES as long as they are on different channels.

There are 30 or 31 channels available on the 75Mhz freq. and 6-7 (?) available on the 27Mhz frequency.

Hope this helps,

Mr T

Yes as Mr T said you can both use the same radio at the same time as long as you are on different frequincies. Both 75mhz and 27mhz come in both am and fm. What you want is 75mhz fm, and preferable a synth radio which does not use crystals, just dial in your frequincey. The JRXS3 has 30 channels built in to the radio, there are only 6 on the 27mhz version.
