If you did the flat black sections on the outside, I think it would get a lot more attention being closer to the original. You shouldn't have any problem with pleasing them with the end result, as long as Parma paint was also used on the outside.
 
Parma doesn't make a flat I could use on the outside. When I do paint the hood, and I will, I plan on using Krylon ultra flat black.
 
Sure they do. All their paints are flat. Only glossy when viewed through the Lexan.
Spray it on a scrap piece, and you'll see that the satin luster will be a perfect scale match on the Cuda.
