Needed to give up the shifting and just get a regular transmission and a large motor.

I high stability load carrier. For pulling a trailer or hauling around weight. Fits a dog bag. Just in case. Was originally a 4 speed with a outrunner. Not enough amps. Then a Spektrum 2300 kv. That got too hot. So swapped to this 3 gear and a F8Se to make it actually capable of moving weight. Scx10.2 rails and skid. And aluminum and wood and abs.

Ok. Calibrated and dialed in. With no load the slipper is fine. Can climb and all the rest. Added the monster truck. Immediately overloaded the slipper clutch on the first obstacle. Need to delete the slipper. Other than that the low speed on a 28 tooth is great. Slow as a crawlbox. No heat. Will need 6 hard inserts. And slipper delete. Then see how it hauls. Suspension works.
K44 and yota axles.

The old free ninety nine slipper clutch eliminator. Drill and tap for M3. All good now. And I would highly suggest getting one of these Fusion8 SEs for your heavy trucks. I may have cracked the frame or sheared an assembly bolt testing it loaded. But the axles didn't break. So win. Haven't found what it was. Don't plan any new 3 gear builds.

OK. Final shakedown. Wasn't a cracked frame. Was a blown leaf spring bushing making lots of noise.

the Fusion8Se was great. Plenty of drag brake. Didn't over heat during repeated extreme incline testing. Worked it until it was hot. Not too hot. Went up on the pinion to reduce the final torque a bit.

then the push test with maximum traction. Rotor lock protection successfully worked. Nothing snapped. Slipper eliminated and all the safety comes from the motor. Next test it at speeds. And over obstacles.

Made a case with abs for the batteries. Straps are too annoying. Torque is strong. Bent my mudflaps all up. Batteries slide in and then tighten 4 M3 screws. 45⁰ climbs most I tried so far. 12 pound Chi and dog bed are no problem.
