Hey guys,
i ordered the 6v stick battery for my RTR RS4 evo cuz thats what was recommended thru hpi's website, they showed that this is the battery for my car, but when i got it, it didnt fit.

Any ideas what i need to change to make this thing works??

Thanks

It shows a stick battery, but betting that is a misprint. I have a nitro mt and it's the same chassis, mostly. And it takes a 6v hump pack.

man now i have to return them

so are all hump batteries same size???
or do i have to get the hpi 6v hump to fit?

Not sure if all are the same size, actually. If they are NIMH 5 cell humps, I would say yes. I have a 5 cell hpi in my savage, and it's the same size as the 4 AA battery holder for the most part.
measure your receiver battery area and see if this is the same size: these are the dimensions of the 5 cell hpi hump pack.
Length: 50mm (1.97")
Width: 31mm (1.22")
Height: 30mm (1.19")

now, this will void your warranty, but if you know how to solder, you could take apart and re-configure it to a hump, thus avoiding sending it back. But I don't recommend it, unless you know what you are doing. (or have someone do it).

The only way you can fit a stick pack or flat pack on an RS4 is to install the carbon fiber upper deck and mount the flat pack under it.

If you don't want to deal with shipping then sell the flat pack locally and buy a 5-cell nimh hump pack. HPI, Orion, and others sell them and they are a pretty standard size (two over three config) and replace a typical four cell AA holder...

HTH...
