I don't see how it would matter if it's nitro or electric, but the one critical equation I don't see is drag.
That's tough to overcome...with anything, once it reaches a certain speed.

Revo rob . I have the same radio and can't work which way to have the expo for high speed runs . Is it plus or minus ?

U want some negative expo on ur steering....it slows the snappiness down....start with 10% and work from there

Garmin Forerunner 101 = best!

If I could find one for a decent price id get one and put it in my bash box but I can't seem to find one for a good price
 
Update

I got my new gearing today and hopefully tomorrow if its not raining or too wet out i am going to try and break 80MPH. . .with the gearing i have it should be more than possible, as long as i have a long enough stretch of road......the gearing i am gonna be trying out is a 28t pinion and a 50t spur gear
 
I can't wait to see this rob! I've been working on my E-Revo over the whole winter now. Still needa just buy a motor and tires. Goodluck at breaking 80, thats tough!
