So I just tried putting an outer wear fiter over my stock 5b 2.0, and the stock filter is not easy to get at!! Is there an after market manifold that angles the filter up a bit? Thought I saw that somewere but can't find it now. Any tips?? thanks

I use the Blur setup. Works great.

I never used the Threshold. I do know that you must use genuine Tecumseh filters or you will have issues.

Thanks for the replies! Now I just have to pick one....

...Threshold filter, have you used it before? http://www.largescalerc.com/RezziClamps-1.aspx

I've read nothing but bad things about such a promissing inovation. You might have to check their website. i think they stopped selling them until a fix was put together.

even with the recommended filter guys were having trouble. perhaps user error. They need to clamp the filter at the base, where there's substantial rubber to hold on it, instead of applying pressure to the face of a paper filter.

i was two clicks away from buying one until I read all the bad press.

I really like the Blur setup. I use it with the stock inner, Red Neck outer and an Outerwears over the top.

Setup has not failed me yet so I have no reason to experiment with anything else.
